         A Personal Message From Pastor Hiatt:

Our Great God saved me in a church service where I heard the message:"Ye must be born again".  The Holy Spirit drew me and birthed me into the family of God.  I was made a new creature in Christ Jesus in December l983.  As Paul said, in Galations 1:12, "I received it by revelation of JesusChrist.  It was all by the good grace of God .  In April l986 I answered the call of God to preach.  (He) put the preach in me and a desire to proclaim His word.  In October of l989, the Good Lord open the door for me to pastor Westside Baptist Church.  He has done great things for us and we give Him the glory.  Thank God for the people that He has truly saved and planted at Westside.  They truly are a great blessing to this preacher. God has also blessed me in my family.  My wife, Myra, has been a great wife and companion in the Lord's word for 27 years.  I have two wonderful children, Matthew and Mandy, and a grandson, Levi.  I extend to you a cordial invitation to visit with us at Westside Baptist, and it is my earnest prayer that this site will be a blessing to all.
